Rehab: Fix What Hurts And Stop It From Coming Back

Pain is usually the symptom, not the problem. We find what's actually driving it, correct the mechanics behind it, and rebuild your confidence in how you move.

Back, neck, shoulder, knee, hip, foot and ankle — every session is one-on-one with your Doctor of Physical Therapy. No aides. No rotating staff. No twenty-minute slots. Whether this started last week or you've been chasing it for years.

Fix What Hurts

Preventative Care: Stay Ahead Of Pain Before It Slows You Down

Most common aches are preventable. Stiffness, asymmetries, and fatigue show up long before pain does — you just don't have a way to see them yet.

We start with a real assessment, build a program around what we find, and check in monthly so small issues stay small. The goal is simple: keep you training, working, and living without limitations.

Your bloodwork gets checked every year. Nobody ever checks how you move — until something goes wrong.

See Where You Stand

Weight Loss: Lose Fat While Building Strength That Lasts

Sustainable weight loss takes more than burning calories. It takes building muscle. Lose weight without strength training and the muscle goes with the fat — metabolism slows, strength drops, and it comes back.

We prioritize muscle preservation and safe strength training so the progress holds. Especially important if you're on a GLP-1.

For Employers: Support Your Team Where It Actually Counts

Musculoskeletal injuries are the number one driver of employer healthcare spend, and a gym stipend doesn't touch them.

This is preventative care, injury prevention, job-specific ergonomics, and on-site, in-clinic, or remote injury management — led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Employees get help early, before it becomes a claim.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

No — ALTR Performance is out-of-network by design. That's what makes the hour-long, one-on-one, same-doctor-every-visit model possible. Insurance-based clinics have to run three or four patients at once to stay solvent, which is why you get twenty minutes and an aide. We'll give you documentation to submit to your insurer for out-of-network reimbursement if your plan offers it, and we'll tell you honestly on the call whether that's likely to be worth your time.

Do I need a referral?

No. South Carolina allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can start here without seeing anyone else first.

How much does it cost?

We'll go through pricing on the call, along with how many visits a case like yours usually takes, so you're looking at a real number rather than a rate. No surprises and no packages you didn't ask about.

How long before I feel better?

Most people notice something change in the first visit — not a cure, but a signal. Beyond that it depends entirely on what's driving the problem and how long it's been going on. We'll give you a realistic range on the call rather than a number designed to get you in the door.

What makes this different from the PT I've already tried?

Every session is a full hour, one-on-one, with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy. No aides, no rotating staff, no sheet of exercises handed to you while someone works with two other people. You also get direct access to your PT between visits, so a question on a Tuesday doesn't wait until your next appointment.

What if physical therapy isn't what I need?

We'll tell you. If what's going on needs imaging, a specialist, or something outside our scope, you'll hear that directly — on the call if we can tell that early, or at your evaluation. We'd rather point you to the right person than keep you on the schedule.

Not Sure What You Need?

That's what the call is for. Fifteen minutes,, and we'll figure out together whether we're the right fit or not.
